"...many followed Jesus, and he healed them all,..." Matthew 12,15
If we had lived in the time of Jesus, wouldn´t we have followed him to see the signs and miracles and expererience healing on body, soul and spirit?
How can we experience Jesus, his power and healing today?
In John 14, 15-18 Jesus promises us another helper, the Spirit of Truth.
He will teach us everything and remind us of the words of Jesus. (John 14,26). Through him , Jesus himself comes to us (John 14,18).
Please note that we are not offered a subordinate force or copy here, but Jesus himself comes into our lives through the Holy Spirit and his Word of truth. If we want to follow Jesus, we must follow his spirit, his word and truth today.
“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your year to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body.” Proverbs 4,20-22
For us today following Jesus means to anchoir his word and spirit in our hearts ( “The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life” John 6,63 ) and not to lose sight of them in order to implement them. In order to be able to follow him, this requires that we have his word in mind. In this way, we visualise him and his word at the same time and already see the results that his word promises.
“...so will my word be which goes forth from my mouth; It will not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and succeeding in the matter for which i send it.” Isaiah 55,11
In this way, we experience not only healing, but also freedom from unpleasent bindings and fear of men. Through his word and spirit, Christ himself becomes alive in us. Spiritial Growth and increase in authority and power are the natural result. This is my wish and prayer for every reader and follower of Jesus.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15,7
